This project was operated by Chernet Debele and Zekaryas Araya-Medhin in response to the Covid 19 pandemic and economic crisis in Lebanon and evacuated 105 sisters.

In order to rescue our sisters, this project besides the air ticket also covered the clearance process of required travel documents including covid 19 test in collaboration with the Ethiopian Embassy in Lebanon.

The coordination was done by pairing sponsors with the evacuees, which created bond between all parties involved and transparency. The sponsors were duly notified of the development as the clearance process was challenging as many government offices were not fully functional due to the pandemic.
